I will give you examples on how to right fractions using negative exponents"
For example we have the fraction:
16/9
This could be written as:
4*4 / 3*3 = 4^2/3^2= (4/3)^2
If you flip the function , you will get a negative exponent:
(4/3)^2 = (3/4)^-2
Another example is sqrt(3)/sqrt(5)
We know that sqrt(3)/sqrt(5) = sqrt(3/5)
We could write the square root as an exponent of (1/2)
Then , sqrt(3/5)= (3/5)^1/2
Now flip and change sign:
(3/5)^1/2 = (5/3)^-1/2
