Your first paragraph should have a general statement and then transition into a thesis statement.

Your second paragraph should say something about Romeo Montague. A first sentence should be the topic sentence in which you introduce generally what you want to say about him. Then, move into a quote that addresses that topic. Use 1-2 sentences to explain that quote. In these sentences state what the quote says, proves or demonstrates about Romeo. Then, find another quote that shows something a little different about Romeo. Use 1-2 sentences to explain this quote discusses what it proves, demonstrates and says about Romeo. Conclude the paragraph with a lesson learned or a finding about Romeo.

In your third paragraph, write about Juliet following the pattern for Romeo.

In your fourth paragraph, write about how they affect each other. Follow the paragraph format for Romeo.

Conclude your essay with a fifth paragraph that restates your thesis and generally lists lessons you have learned from exploring Romeo and Juliet's relationship. Keep in mind that part of the purpose of reading literature is to examine how characters deal with circumstances.
