How has media changed over the years?

There are a lot of ways that this has changed over the years.

First of all, the media (plural of medium) have changed.  The only medium used to be print until radio was invented and people started getting information that way.  Then TV came in and changed everything.  Between TV and the internet, the print media are kind of dying.  That's a big change.

Second, the media has become more fragmented.  Everyone used to watch the same few channels on TV and read the same few magazines.  Now there are all kinds of TV channels and even more websites.  We are not all pulled together by the media anymore.
